A Virtual Book Tour Event:
Author and editor Nina Shoroplova was recently one of my guests on the Communication Diva Podcast (Episode 104) and so when she told me our conversation had inspired even MORE creativity to emerge for her, I was delighted and excited for her. We at Communication Diva are pleased to host this stop on Nina’s virtual book tour, and to share her article below. Please enjoy!

The search for a personal mission is of paramount importance in each of
our lives. I have approached that search myself several times in my life. I write
about how I found that mission in Trust the Mystery: Raising Self-Awareness
through Questions, Quotes, and Quantum Wisdom, one of the two ebooks I’m
self-publishing this month.
An excerpt:
“About ten years ago, in an effort to recognize my path at the time, I took a
piece of paper and wrote on it all the activities I did and enjoyed. Then I took the first letters of each of the words that remained on the page after I had crossed off some of the less favourite ones; I had twelve letters left. I moved them around as though I were trying for the fifty-point bonus in a game of Scrabble ® . I came up with a word that made some sense to me: Wrasmadascle. I pronounced it raz-ma-‘dazzle. At the time, I wanted to shine a little more brightly, so the sound of dazzle really appealed. I was honouring Marianne Williamson’s appeal for each of us to recognize how great our potential is.
“I registered Wrasmadascle in British Columbia’s registry of companies as
a single entrepreneurship. Some years later, because I found that my customers
could not pronounce the word (I was selling natural products online at the time), I shortened the name to Wrasma. The acronym still described six of my favourite roles and activities: writer, researcher, author, singer, musician, and actor….
“Recently, I did the exercise again. I was easily able to recognize the
energy bringing me the greatest joy and affinity: ‘editor. Although I had performed the task of editing for decades, it was not in my original list of beloved roles….
“Because of this awareness that editing is a strong skill set for me and that I am most attracted to the spiritual and inspirational genres, I am now working as an editor for a publisher of spiritual and inspirational books.”
I should add that I also edit authors freelance.
Her Books
Through Wrasma Marketing, I’m publishing Trust the Mystery: Raising
Self-Awareness through Questions, Quotes, and Quantum Wisdom as a second
edition on Amazon’s Kindle platform on January 25. It’s somewhere around
94,000 words, so it’ll be on at the reduced price of $2.99 for five days and then
switch to $9.99 USD.
The other ebook I’m self-publishing this month is Spiraling Self-Awareness: Personal Mission Revealed in 27 Days through Pythagorean Numerology’s Partnership with the 9-Chakra System. It’s a long subtitle, because
I want people to know and understand from the book cover that following the
exercises and directions in Spiraling Self-Awareness will enable them to
recognize their passion fully and then hone in on their mission.
I’m publishing Spiraling Self-Awareness the same way as Trust the
Mystery. Spiraling is a much shorter book at around 15,400 words, so I’ll be
releasing it for free for the first five days and thereafter, its price will be $2.99.
Thank you, Jenn, for the opportunity to tell you about these two ebooks. It certainly is an exciting adventure and it’s wonderful to have your
companionship along the way! My virtual book tour runs from January 9 until January 27, 2017 and I’ll be hopping from one destination to the next. More information is available on my website at Virtual Book Tour Schedule
My pleasure, Nina. Wishing you much success with all that you are doing…oh, and happy birthday too!
